I was hoping that this one would be as good as Horus Rising even more so as it focused on the Word Bearers assault on Calth and the first major phase of the Heresy after the battles on Istavaan III and V. The story in the book takes place around the invasion of the Ultramar sector and the battle for Calth. The story of the invasion of Calth is told in the excellent novel by Dan Abnett, Know No Fear. The campaign is going to be divided across the world in a series of TT games to celebrate Dan Abnett's new HH novel 'Know no fear' (Release in March 2012). It's inspired,as I'm sure most will gather quite readily, by the latest addition to the Horus Heresy book series, Dan Abnett's Know No Fear, the tale describing one of the major events of the Heresy, the Battle of Calth. Often, the various ship actions in hope doesn't disappear into the mist. That's important in Know No Fear, because a great deal of the action takes place in the orbital areas surrounding Calth. Me, I'm currently hard at work on Know No Fear, the story of the Battle of Calth, for the Horus Heresy series. The later novel Know No Fear does this as well. The First Heretic gave us the background. When you pick-up Know No Fear and read the first page (maybe the first sentence!) you'll instantly know it's Dan writing.
